Hito Steyerl - The Wretched of the Screen
This book goes into depth about the ever encompassing digital screen that has been through so many adaptions. This page in particular was striking for myself, explaining the public sphere and the modern day situation regarding surveillance.
The line I thought was most thought provoking is:
'The exploited doesn't show the exploitation to the exploiter' - pg.69
Very true, definitely something to take into account within future pieces of my practice!
